How did you label addresses on your invites?

Mrs. Juliana, on June 1, 2019 at 1:35 PM Posted in Planning 0 32
So I made a mistake and ordered my invitations without having Shutterfly address the envelopes. Actually when I ordered them I didn’t have all the addresses put together. There’s no way I’m handwriting all those addresses. I also what them
to look nice and elegant. Any inexpensive suggestions?

I mean, you'd have to write it all or type it all out regardless.... But you could always print labels with them and stick them on.

We just had labels printed with the names and the address on them, we printed out 4 of each address, one for save the dates, one for invite, one for thank you’s and also one for an extra. Which actually came in handy for my bridal shower thank you’s. And for our address we didn’t want to write it out a thousand times so we got a rubber stamper for ours. You can customize the fonts and everything. I would definitely recommend going that route! Plus, it’s way cheaper than having a company print the address on the envelopes!!

We purchased clear Avery lables from Walmart! You can download a MS Word template and it made the process quick and painless. They look really good and are budget friendly!!!

We printed addresses directly onto the envelopes. It took awhile, but my ha writing is terrible so there was no way I was going handwrite them.

Avery labels- they can always be changed if someone moves.

I’m doing the Avery labels and printing them out. I ordered our address labels awhile back when I received free address labels through Shutterfly.

I second Any, if you have a cricut or know someone who does, its a GREAT option. I used it for my STDs. Otherwise, your standard printer is an option, but in my experience, you have to watch it closely and feed the envelopes one at a time or it's likely to jam.

We opted to have a calligrapher do them. I actually found a girl on Facebook marketplace for great pricing, mailed her the envelopes and she mailed back to me!

I am handwriting all of ours, roughly 130 total. Not my favorite thing to do, but it saves money and ultimately the envelope ends up in the trash

I used my cricut to “hand write” all 200 of my invitations. They were beautiful and my guests LOVED them.

There are a TON of Groupons for rubber stamps, btw. I'm going to try to use one. What company did you order yours from?

Another one with clear Avery labels and printing them. You can use nice fonts on your computer and print it all out. Then stick and go!

This is what I’m looking for actually printing directly onto the invite. I bought a template from Etsy. I can’t seem to figure it out though. Did you use your regular at home printer?

This was my second idea. Trying to print them on labels, but I’m unable to figure out my Etsy template. The labels I ordered are teeny tiny. What size labels did you buy?

I bought a rubber stamper for return address on Etsy for I think $20. so the return address is on both the invitation envelope and the RSVP envelope. Just to get those addresses on it now. My project for the week. My goal is to have them
    out by Wednesday.

We saved the money and did not have them pre-printed as well (we did have our address printed on envelopes and return envelopes). So we are taking one weekend and hand addressing our guests names & addresses.
