We started dating on the 17th, he proposed on the 17th, so we wanted to keep that 17th theme going. There were only two 17th weekend dates in 2020, one in July and one in October and October is my parents anniversary, so we went with July 17. But July 17 happens to be our 4.5 year anniversary and we liked the idea of it so we just went with it!

We decided on November 27th, 2020 for two reasons:

    1) The 27th is a special day for us (we began dating on March 27th, 2015) and we always do something special on the 27th of every month and wanted to keep this tradition

    2) My father is active duty Air Force so we had to pick a date we knew he could 100% make it for which was Thanksgiving weekend

222 is kind of a recurring thing with us. We wanted to get married in 2020. When we realized February 22 was a Saturday we had to!

We chose our date because it was our current anniversary.

My husband always knew I wanted to get married in the fall and since our unofficial anniversary was on Halloween, we decided to find something available around that date. He absolutely wanted October 26, but we had to remain flexible due to venue availability and our short turnaround time. We wound up with November 2. So, pick your season, pick your venue, and then pick your date based off of what they have available. Hope that helps!

We wanted to tie the knot this fall, but my sisters were unable to attend because they are residents in hospitals. Since we're having a DW, we wanted to keep it off season, so I decided on February. Out of all the weekends, we didn't want a V-day date, and the weekend after is my dad's birthday. So we decided to have it the weekend after my dad's birthday which is perfect because it'll be before March spring break madness.

Must’ve been for sure! My cousin got married on her bday sometime after she passed, but it didn’t work out for her...so...we figured maybe she didn’t want her day taken away from her!😂
