How did you choose your shoes?

So, my dress is being held at the boutique where it was purchased and I’ve been trying to figure out what shoes would go with it. I purchased rose gold heels from LuLu’s, but they were too pink. So, my dress is being held at the boutique where it was purchased and I’ve been trying to figure out what shoes would go with it. I purchased rose gold heels from LuLu’s, but they were too pink. I have an old pair of champagne heels that match color-wise, but I can’t stand in them longer than ten minutes. So, I’ve ordered another pair on Sale from David’s Bridal. I also ordered a nude pair of heels from LuLu’s for my engagement photo dress. Anyway, what do you think of these shoes with my dress and how did you go about choosing your shoes? What shoes are you wearing and where did you find yours?

I chose mine based on the color (rose gold) and wanting glitter to match our theme! I still need to break them in before the wedding. I, actually, found them on Ebay!

I wanted color and to have flats. I love pointed flats too so it was easy for me to figure it out. I went with wedding colors for my flats

I chose mine because I wanted to wear pink heels. Our wedding colors were light pink and navy blue, and pink is my favorite color. I actually already had these for a few years but had only wore them once for a couple of hours. They were already pretty comfortable but I added insoles for extra comfort. It helps!

I'm planning to wear a pair of shoes I already own! They're just a simple pair of nude block heels with an ankle strap. They're already broken in and they're still in great condition!

I agree, check Zappos for the brand Naturalizer. They are SO comfortable, carry wide width, and are reasonably priced. Plus Zappos has shipping and returns that are quick and free.

Thank you! I've only put them on like three times so far so they're not comfy yet, but I'll walk around in the house to break them in soon!

Yes, definitely a good idea to wear them around the house for a while before your wedding day!! I always find that wearing thick socks in shoes around the house helps stretch them out and makeup them more comfortableSmiley smile

That’s a great idea! The lady who owns the boutique where I bought my dress (she’s also a seamstress) mentioned wearing thick socks underneath the shoes, too! She also mentioned blow drying them while on your feet over socks. Who would have ever thought? 😁

I was just about to come back to you to suggest putting your blow drier on them!! It's something my mom always tells me to do! The added heat helps them mold to your foot shape!

How cool! I wasn’t sure of the reason, but it totally makes sense now that you’ve explained it. We’re learning something new every day. 🤗
