Just cut back on sugar and carbs. Eat fruits and veggies, work out. Talk to your seamstress and see how much they can let out, too!

Alterations on the dress would probably be the best option at this point...

3 months is not really enough time to lose weight and get the alterations done. Talk to your seamstress about options like adding a corset back or how much she can let it out.

Also, change your avatar please. thanks!

HCG diet I lost 30 in 30 days. You have to be careful not to gain it back tho bc it's easy to do so after you finish the diet.

How much would you like to lose? 30 pounds in 30 days is not safe. You are highly susceptible to gaining the weight back and some extra. Not recommended. There isn't going to be a quick fix here. You can never go wrong with some good hard work in the gym and being aware of what you're putting in your body. You have time to lose weight you just have to start now and work hard!

Work out (lift weights, do 20-30 minutes of cardio 5 days a week)

Cut out sugar, sodium and cut back on carbs

    Don't eat carbs past 7pm.

Drink 64oz of water a day (add lemon to it).

    Do not eat processed foods.

Season your foods with a dash of cayenne pepper.

Have half a grapefruit every morning.

    Eat more veggies.

For carbs stick to sweet potatoes and brown rice.

ETA: Losing 30 lbs in 30 days is not only unsafe it's impossible. Unless you're talking about water weight. For instance I lost 7 lbs in one week but that was 1 lb of fat and 6 lbs of water weight because I virtually eliminated sugar and sodium for an entire week (which was pure hell).

In three months you're optimistically looking at 2 (because fittings) and then it's 1 - 2 lbs a week. So that's 4 to a 8 a month. So 10 to fifteen is realistic.

Get in a calorie deficit and get your ass in gear.

Use the app My Fitness Pal. I lost 30 lbs and my FH lost almost 50 lbs using it in just a few months. It makes watching what you eat so much easier

Really it's not safe to lose more than 1-2 lbs per week. Eat clean, whole foods and as little processed foods as possible. If you don't recognize the ingredients, be suspicious. Avoid soda like the plague. Drink water. That alone makes a huge difference. Then try to work out a little most days but don't do anything extreme if you aren't used to it or you could injure yourself (and then not being able to move while you heal makes things even harder). Honestly, being healthy making lifestyle changes is the only way to lose weight and keep it off.

Everyone's suggestions are on point. Maybe the hungry girl diet? It's less a diet and more a meal plan that just teaches you how to eat healthy. And working out

Dont starve yourself. Change your eating habits and work out. Also talk to seamstress to let out the dress some.

Get the dress altered. That's a whole lot healthier than trying to lose weight fast just for one day.

I just had a baby two months ago and I'm getting married in 44 days! Great motivation to get those last few pounds off. My goal was to lose ten more. And in the last two weeks I lost five. I use the myfitnesspal app. I eat less than 1200 calories a day unless I exercise heavily. Walk as much as you can. Cut out ANY beverage that isn't water. And drink a ton of water! Don't eat anything after 7pm. Even if it means going to bed hungry. It's hard at first (especially if you're a late night snacker like I was) but your body will quickly adjust! Start making simple swaps in your diet for healthier foods. Watch your sodium intake. And dairy as well! Dairy can be a diet killer! Also, when/if you feel a binge coming on, remember the progress you've made and keep your motivation in mind!! Another thing, don't focus completely on the scale, but how your clothes are fitting. Sometimes the number won't budge but your clothes will become looser! You can do it, that's a reasonable amount to lose in that amount of time! Good luck!

I just want to be clear- there is nothing inheriently WRONG with eating after any particular time of day- 6, 7 or 8 PM.

The issue is the CALORIES. If you eat all day- then snack later at night- odds are you are going over your calories.

So it's an easy way to limit them and make sure you aren't over. I don't eat breakfast- I often don't eat till 1 or 2 PM. Which means- I'm eating late at night with no undo consequences.

The biggest issue with eating late at night that should be a concern is heart burn- if it causes you heart burn- then you may want to back off your bed time.

I lost 30lbs in 3 mo. For breakfast I had a yogurt and banana. Lunch was a salad with a grilled chicken breast. And dinner was usually a Lean Cusine type meal. No soda, or desserts. IF I snacked I had popcorn (as low carb as possible), olives (10), graham cracker (1 ,4 square sheet), grapes (10), sugar free pudding. Those were all appropriate snacks on my pre-diabetic meal plan. And I hit the gym every single day, with the exception of the 6 weeks I was out with a broken foot. I did warm up, stretching for about 20 minutes, all the weight circuit machines, 20-30 min on the treadmill, and then cool down, stretching for another 20-30 minutes. All in all I was gone an hr and half to 2 hrs. Oh, and TONS of water!!

ETA: That's essentially 2.5 lbs, a week. That's not that much over the standard 2 someone mentioned.
