I'm trying for a low, semi-messy bun with loose strands in the front. I don't like wearing my hair up in public, but it will be late June and I don't want to be too hot. I have very thick hair and just don't want to deal with it on a hot day. And, my dress has an elaborate illusion back.

I opted for a side swept look. It was really comfortable for me and I loved it. Here’s a pic from my wedding and some from my trial which show the hair better.

My hair is unreasonably curly so it will be straightened. However when it's straight it doesn't want to hold anything even with hair spray so I'm hoping for the picture, if not it'll just be straight and fully down.
