Household Category for Guest List

It’s gone. They took it away w/ the new update. So I guess you’ll have to do the latter unfortunately. I’ve had to keep mine organized via excel & notes.

Hi Jessica! There are no more "households" in the guest list tool, but you can see related guests linked together with the chainlink icon. Also when you click to view a specific guest's information, you'll see the related guests listed under "Additional guests" - that way you can easily check how many other names to add to the same invitation!

I’m so disappointed in this euodate. The household names, inside envelope, and outside envelope has helped me immensely with printing my guest list and organizing it. Now I have to re-do everything in an excel spreadsheet. I wish I could go back to the old WW!

View Quoted Comment I also perfectly formatted the "households" for the outer envelope addresses and that was how I could tell who were the kids on my fiance's side. Now I'm about to export for invitations and have no way of knowing who the kids are or what the titles of the adults are. They're all linked, but I spent forever perfectly formatting and researching what each of their titles were and who the kids were, etc. My fiance and I sat down and did it together. We're both super busy and now have to do that again. I had entered in Ms. vs. Mrs. and who the Drs. were in the household. The new format is really throwing me off! There really should be an option to go back to the old version for people who were mid way through planning!

SO ANNOYING. This is why I chose WeddingWire for my guest list in the first place. I just realized The Knot has added a new Household feature!

At last month of my wedding Wedding Wire made a "down" update and I went crazy when the addresses disappeared, then they came back, but not for household guest list. I had to do everything by hand at busiest time. So disappointed at that moment.

When calculating how many invitations to order based on household, where would I find that number?

Linked within your Guest List are designated with a chain icon to help visualize households in case that helps!
