So I am in the process of talking with two hotels in the area of our venue to block off rooms for the night of our wedding. Our wedding is June 6, 2020, a Saturday. I got a quote from one hotel with a layout of what was included and shuttle info and what not. I did a little research to see if the rate of $126 she gave me was good. A room for the Saturday before our wedding (it wouldn't let me "book an room" for our wedding night yet) and the price was $126.36. I'm a little confused because I thought I would get a discount for our guests. Is that not true? What is the point of a hotel block if its not discounted?

We are paying $1,151 per 55 person bus (so $21 per person) so I think the included shuttle is a GREAT benefit. I bet the rate will go up by June 2020 so I think that rate is a good offer.
