Hotel room blocks

I spoke to the hotel where we are getting our room block and they said they will hold the rooms until 6 weeks prior to the date, which seems really early to me. If our invites go out 8 weeks before the wedding, then people will really only have two weeks to book a room... I will have all the info on...

I spoke to the hotel where we are getting our room block and they said they will hold the rooms until 6 weeks prior to the date, which seems really early to me. If our invites go out 8 weeks before the wedding, then people will really only have two weeks to book a room... I will have all the info on our wedding website, but will people search for our site? Or do I put it on the STDs? Or am I totally overthinking this and having two weeks to book a room is totally fine?

    I made book mark type thing and gave out at my showee or you can put in save the dates. We then did a little insert with invitation... and if they didnt book by then.... it was fine. My wedding is next weekend!
