Hotel Nights

How many nights are you all booking for the wedding. We are getting married on a Sunday. I was thinking 2 nights would be ideal. Saturday night, Sunday night and check out Monday for our day after brunch.

That should be fine. We had a Saturday wedding and had the hotel room Friday and Saturday night.

Oh wonderful!! I’ll ask for that too! Doesn’t hurt to try! I might do a Tuesday checkout. We will see I have a few weeks to think about it. Yes I love my own bed. The best hotel bed I have ever slept in was Hyatt.... girl that mattress and pillow was oh so heavenly!! Congrats!!!

I think my nieces are going to sleep with me Saturday night as well. They are overly excited.

Oh no we are staying elsewhere both nights. My cousins basically told me to stay separate. Guests were bothering her all through the day and knocking on the door multiple times a day. I guess that’s why it’s important to put a point of contact on the invitation or website and it not be the bride! 😂

Sunday wedding here as well! We’re doing Saturday night (myself, my wedding party, and a few guests will be staying the night before) and we’re doing the night of for more people. Most of my guests live local so they will just be getting rides home the night of, but some will be staying

Omg yes, my husband is a Hyatt platinum member because he used to refuse to stay in any other hotels because Hyatt’s were so comfy 😂 but he has so many points now and they treat us like royalty when we check in so we stay at them all the time and it’s wonderful

We are doing two nights; the night before the wedding, just me and sister (maybe my nieces) and the night of the wedding me & my then husband! I don’t think more time than that is necessary unless you are far away from home.

We didn't block off rooms instead we hooked up with Marriott and Holiday Inn and they will give 20% each night for as long as guests want to stay and need no commitment of an exact amount of rooms!! Our guests LOVE the flexibility!

We are only booking for one night, but we also live relatively close to our venue.

Us too. But then I found a really cheap spot so I booked it for anyone who might need it. Myself and my nieces might stay there the night before wedding.
