Hotel Block Disappointment

I honestly thought hotel blocks was going to be the simplest thing to check off my to do list and honestly its been the worst. Hopefully you are able to get in contact with someone soon! Maybe try calling the hotel you wanted to work with directly.

Call the hotel you want to work with directly and explain the situation. It always easier than going through a middle man I believe. I got better rates call directly than I did with WW quotes.

Now I am just grudgingly moving down the list, which is too bad. The one I wanted was closest and one of the lower cost ones.

I also didn't expect I'd have so much trouble getting it set up.

I used Kleinfeld Hotel Blocks and they were absolutely amazing. If you still have trouble, reach out to them. All of my problems started after we signed a contract with a hotel and Kleinfeld stepped away allowing us to now have direct communication with the hotel. It seems most hotels don't really care and make wedding blocks their priority, which is a shame since weddings provide them a lot of business.

I had issues with them too! Everytime i would email them I wouldnt here back from them. Then they would send me an email asking me to let them know if ive booked anyone or have any questions! Umm yeah, I have several check your emails! I ended up calling a hotel I was interested in directly and got a better deal!

Yes this exactly what I got too. She actually just responded today after I posted this (coincidental right?) and she sent me stuff saying I have to book and then get a rebate once I put my paperwork in 30 Days from the date.
