Hot Cocoa Station!

Casey, on September 22, 2018 at 12:07 AM Posted in Wedding Reception 0 17
One thing I know for certain is there's going to be a coffee and hot cocoa station at our reception and I can't wait!

I picked up these two glass cuties for only $2! Can you believe it? They couldn't fit any better in my theme or next to the sign for the station! Also, I can eat those delicious dehydrated marshmallows when it's all said and done.

What do you guys think? Is a hot cocoa station lame?

It's not lame at all. I had a hot chocolate and cider bar and people loved it. That was one of the reasons I wanted a winter wedding.

We're totally on the same page here, I love getting cozy with some cocoa! I hope I can pull it off though, I'm sure there will be lots more pictures to come. Smiley smile

What ‘toppings’ did you include? I’m planning on doing marshmallows, whipped cream, candy canes and caramel for the apple cider. Any other ideas that were popular?

We had those toppings also as well as cinnamon sticks and cinnamon to sprinkle. We also had candy cane spoons and little chocolate chips.

You guys are incredibly inspiring! I've also found some great stuff on Pinterest! (Which I highly recommend checking out.)

I love the idea of the cinnamon with these matching mugs too!

At what part of the wedding/reception are you doing this? I'm having a Xmas wedding and loved the idea of cocoa bar and cookies, but couldn't figure out how to fit it in???

I love this idea. These little figures are adorable. I am still debating if we should do a coffee and tea station. Coffee would be great with desserts. And tea is popular.

We're kinda combining the ceremony and reception so it will be at the venue for both events.

I'm pretty sure most people pop their cocoa stations somewhere inthe reception though.

How goes your cocoa station planning, Casey? Have you thought about having a hot cocoa salute or toast? I think that could be really cute!

A hot cocoa station sounds awesome! Maybe have an option to have coffee added to the cocoa or hot spiced cider served as well.
