Horse and carriage in the winter????

Michelle, on June 4, 2019 at 8:56 PM Posted in Planning 0 14

I've always wanted one. Will that look crazy???????? My wedding is on New Years Eve and I thought it would be the perfect ending. The wedding venue and the hotel we're staying at that night are both downtown, so we won't have far to go. What do you think????

I don't think I'd call it crazy. It also depends on where you are (NYE in Florida is very different than NYE in Minnesota). It will definitely make a statement!

I think it’d be beautiful! As long as you have a coat and/or blankets you should be fine. My only concern would be if there’s heavy snow, would you get a refund?

Go for it! I'm riding my horse to the altar then she will pull us in a carriage when we leave.
If it snows, you can get a sleigh!

It's in NC. So it maybe freezing, but then again it just might be a little chilly. But with my luck it will be freezing rain lol

Horse and carriage is fine just ensure you have decent roads that they can travel on, also maybe consider having an option of a rough just in case of rain
