I think I found the perfect location. Just waiting for a response to my semi-lengthy email to them.
In 1996 I originally met my FH at our local fair. We got married a few months later and then after 7.5 years later we went our separate ways. Then after 13 years apart we got back together. Now that we are married, I want the location to be special.
At first I wanted a rose garden because we both love roses. But I thought about it for a while and the idea about getting married on the fairgrounds seemed to feel just right. The fairgrounds do allow weddings. I just need to know what dates are available for best days and times.
I think getting married at the place we met is a perfect way to start the new chapter of our lives.
I even found a place for catering to the fairgrounds. I will email them after I get a response from the fairgrounds. Then I need to get a rough idea on how many people so I can inform the caterer. I can also just give them a specific number, but I know there won't be that many people.
