I’m heartbroken. I fell in love with this ballgown because all I wanted was to get a big princess dress. It was perfect, until they showed me it with a hoop skirt. It was instantly more comfortable and I loved it even more. It was definitely a splurge but I couldn’t stop smiling.
But now I’m so upset because I worry it looks ridiculous looking back at the photos. Like what was I thinking!?? I still think it’s beautiful but now if I take the hoop skirt out it will be 5-8 inches too long! I’m worried hemming it would mess up the lace! I want to love my dress hoop skirt and all but I have a lot of fear and regret. It won’t arrive for another 3 months.
It’s too late to make any changes. It’s a made to order dress so I’ll have to wait for it to come in and alter it (which I wasn’t budgeting for).
Has anyone else been through this and have some encouraging words?
