Honeymoons under $2000

Depends how flexible you are about the dates. Flying out of NY will help- I usually see some of the cheapest flights from there. Try Western Europe.

Vegas!! Hotel and flight for 3 nights and 4 days was under $900

We booked a 7 night cruise with a balcony room for just over $2,000. There's a few options out of NY, but we were able to get pretty cheap flights to FL and we're cruising out of Miami!

Quebec? Really anywhere in Canada, but Quebec will "feel" more international. FH and I are going to Iceland, tickets are super cheap but actually doing stuff there is pretty pricy. If you just went for a few days though you might be able to make that budget work. Our plane tickets were 300 each round trip from Chicago. We also prepaid an extra 100 (50 each way) for a checked bag. So 700 total round trip if we fit our stuff into one bag. You can stay in hostles or an airbnb much cheaper than a hotel there.

My FSIL mentioned using Groupon to find a reasonably priced honeymoon. She told me that you have to wait until about 3 months before the wedding to book a good deal.

Check out Groupon if you're flexible on dates. They have amazing international deals.

Cruises! I love Royal Caribbean

If you're a Costco member, check Costco travel! They have a category of vacations that is $500 and under (per person) and you can usually book a cheaper flight through them

I second cheapcaribbean.com. We booked our honeymoon for January for a week for just over $2000 but there were cheaper places. We have gone to difference Caribbean islands so we wanted to go to Jamaica

I would for sure check the status of what is not damaged by hurricanes in the Caribbean before booking. I live in TX near where Harvey hit. The people here have more $ and resources than those on the islands. 2 mo later and towns are still damaged. Like court houses not up/running. People homeless. Trash and debri everywhere. State can’t keep up with it. It’s bad. If it’s like that here... I can’t imagine what the islands look like.

SO and I removed all carribean/gulf options from our honeymoon list.

Detroit has flights to London with virgin Atlantic/Delta for a really good price. Then you can either to London or fly to mainland Europe for super cheap!
