Honeymooning

Iceland and Ireland! I agree...I'm super excited for this part haha!!! Ahhh six months left!!!

We went to Athens Greece.

I was more excited for my honeymoon than the wedding. lol

We’re thinking it’s going to be Sandals Grand Bahamian in the Bahamas! Haven’t booked yet, it will be Oct 2019. I’m honestly still spooked with the Zika threat and it seems like the Bahamas and Bermuda are really the only “clear” spots in the Caribbean 🤷‍♀️. Anyone else taking that into consideration as they plan?

Were taking a 5 day cruise to The Bahamas... with my toddler and FMIL. Looking forward to getting away but idk about relaxing lol

We're going on a cruise to Cozumel! I'm glad I'm not the only one looking more forward to the honeymoon than the wedding. Started to think I was crazy for telling people that!

I feel the same way (when we booked Oyster Bay was still going through its growing pains since it opened on June 1st, and we booked like late July, but we are going to Excellence El Carmen!) I am super excited for a week away just the 2 of us without tons of plans or traveling and activities!

We are supposed to be honeymooning in Orlando. We got married in September but H is a school bus driver so we have to wait until the students are on break because he doesn't have much if any PTO since he's not full time yet. We are hoping to go in April but due to an unexpected car trouble. we may have to wait just a bit longer to go.

My fh and I are just gonna go to St. Louis, MO. We live in Springfield, IL so it’s only an hour and a half away but we also don’t have a lot of money. But he wanted to go to Puerto Rico where some of his family lives so we are gonna do that at a later date.

We went to the Mayan Riviera in Mexico. I honestly don’t know how people do Europe and places like that right after the wedding. I was completely exhausted. Mexico was a perfect mix of relaxation and fun.

We picked sandals ochi in Jamaica! I don’t blame you girl. I’m pretty excited myself as well. I feel like I’m going to be pretty said when it’s time to leave and come back home to reality.

We are going to Samoa!! We just want to enjoy ourselves and relax on the beach in a tropical island whike soaking in all the excitement of the wedding day. Wouldn't want to be sightseeing and walking around a foreign country trying to understand a foreign language after all that wedding "craziness" lol. I can't wait!!

We leave for Aruba in 8 days I can't wait!

We’re doing 8 nights in Cancun...not as excited about the location as I’m excited about the uninterrupted alone time me and FH will get 😍

We are going to bora bora 😆 and I can say I am more excited for that then my own wedding too 🤣

We are going to Greatness Exuma in the Bahamas (Zika free!). We are going about four weeks after the wedding.

You are right that the Bahamas is clear of zika. Mexico and the Caribbean unfortunately are not. If you go on the CDC website there is information regarding how to take precautions. I had read from someone else on here that you should definitely wait to conceive for at least 3 months when going to a zika virus area. There is more info about this and safety precautions to not pass it to each other on the website! It literally scares me but all the places I considered have it Now I am thinking I should check out the Bahamas!
