You’ll not be allowed to fly that far along. Also I will tell you by that point being in a car for long periods of time is miserable. Spa may be fun but you’ll have to research what you will and won’t be able to do as even massaged are given differently when pregnant

I would look for something close!!! I’m a NICU nurse near Atlantic City. We’ve had many little ones in our unit from out of town because the parents wanted a little getaway. Sometimes we can’t stop preterm labor and then the baby is stuck with us for sometimes a couple months 😳 The parents are between a rock and hard place because dad had to get back to work mom wants to be with baby and they have to get a hotel room.
Not that this is the norm and God forbid I would never wish it on you or anyone ( I know plenty of people come to the shore pregnant and go home just fine) but it breaks my heart when it happens. So whenever a loved one talks about going away that far along, I always give warning.

Sorry I’m not real helpful on the suggestion part. 🤦🏼‍♀️
Congrats on the two big events in your life so much love in a short period to share. 😍😍

Maryland is close to so many options.
Have you been to National Harbor? Amazing restaurants, the casino, the spa, and you can easily get to Alexandria by ferry and D.C by car.

Lewes and Rehoboth in DE are super cute with lots to do!

You could go to somewhere along the eastern shore: St.Michaels or the Hyatt Regency in Cambridge, it’ll give you the resort feel.

You could go to a VA beach or Williamsburg.

How many weeks will you be? I’d chat with your OB. I traveled at 25 weeks but that was the latest I would go (for me personally). I know plenty of people who have traveled further along though. I ended up in preterm labor at 32 weeks - so anything can happen. Also, it has nothing to do with our honeymoon but just traveling while pregnant. My little is now almost two 😱

Hello Dear, I'm old school. I was just recently married September 2018. I'm not pregnant, but we decided not to take a trip due to financial decisions. We went to a local hotel away from our wedding party, and had a fabulous time. We decided to take our honeymoon after the wedding when it's more convenient. My hubby is from Jamaica and we're going on our honeymoon to Jamaica towards the end of this year. Take your time. Don't stress yourself. Get ready for your bundle of joy. Spend time with the baby, then once your situated, make plans to do that thing the right way so you will really enjoy yourself 😉♥️. Straight from Omaha Nebraska baby... BB

I will be almost 7 months pregnant by our wedding too! I know it's been a while since you posted this and I hope things went well for you. My fiancé and I are actually going on our honeymoon before our wedding. It was my fiancé's idea and I absolutely love it! We've known each other for so long and have been in a way married in spirit for years, so it's not a huge deal to us. We are going on a cruise that lands us in Spain and then we are flying to Italy right after and will be there for a week. It's a lot of flying, but I have a low-risk pregnancy thus far, doctor approved of it, and I will get a nice seat cushion for all the flying. I will also be walking down the plan isle every 30-60 minutes to help with blood circulation. This trip could very well be the last time we can travel like this in a long time, so we wanted to go big. I am currently 20 weeks along and we're cruising right before the standard maximum 23/24 week requirement for cruising.
