Honeymooning at 1 Year Anniversary

We are. We're paying for the wedding ourselves so we thought why not wait for the honeymoon. We're taking a mini-moon and staying at a B&B for a few days and I cannot wait. Our plan is to save and go to Bora Bora or South Africa next year.

We'll probably go the summer after our December wedding. We want to find a cabin/beach house somewhere where he can fish and I can drink margaritas and jet ski

We are might be 2 years but maybe not. We didn't want to settle on a place, we wanted to go somewhere we always wanted to go. We are okay with it because we are having a destination wedding. We are planning for Rome

We thought about it, but are afraid that "life" might get in the way. We feel like if we don't take a big trip right after the wedding we might not ever be able to. Everyone knows how things tend to come up! Like houses and babies and things like that. So were going away right after the wedding.

FH's aunt/uncle just surprised us with four days in Galena, IL for our honeymoon...but our real goal is Jamaica for our 1 year anniversary! so yes, we're planning on waiting a year.

I love that idea... however we're planning on starting a family pretty much right away, and I'm not too sure what will be happening one year later. Perhaps I'll pitch this idea to FH tonight

We are staying at the beach for the weekend. I am so excited

We're paying for the wedding ourselves as well so we want to save for a bigger trip the following year and just taking a road trip the weekend after!

We're waiting for our 1 year anniversary to do our "real" honeymoon, in the meantime we are going glamping in our Airstream.

Yea being that the wedding used a lot of money we want to actually enjoy our honeymoon without having to worry about money. We opened up a savings account for it

We are. We are saving up time and money so we can go to a resort somewhere but we are taking a mini moon right after the wedding because we have some days off

We're doing a late honeymoon, but not on our 1 year anniversary. Our 5 year dating anniversary is 6 months after the wedding so we are going to go there. Our last hurrah since we are thinking about trying to start a family sometime around next summer.
