Your groom isn't making you wear the lingerie that other people gifted you. I wouldn't put that expectation on him either. If he wants to put forth effort or wear something like that to impress you, then he can, but that's on him.

I think it would be kind of cute and funny if you did that ahah. I know if I did that to my groom he would get a kick out of it

I can't even imagine what my FHs reaction would be if I gave him a thong. 😂😂 if he's in to that kind of thing, go for it. Just don't be upset if he doesn't want to wear it.

If you already know he'll appreciate it, why did you ask for advice? I'd say if he wanted to wear a thong, he would probably buy one.

Wearing lingerie or not wearing wearing lingerie is a personal choice. A person should only wear it if he/she feels comfortable, not because they feel they have to. You don’t have to wear lingerie just because it was gifted to you or because you think it is expected of you. Your FH doesn’t have to wear it just because you do. If you think he would enjoy it you could certainly buy some but I ultimately it’s his decision. Your decision to wear lingerie should have no bearing on his decision to wear a thong.

I’d suggest talking to him and seeing if he’s comfortable with the idea before buying it. If he is, then go crazy!

My FH is always disappointed that men have so few options for sexy underwear. He's got some "date night" underwear, but he's underwhelmed by the selection. He loves lingerie nights. He likes them so much that I have to ration them so they don't lose their wow factor. He would love it if I got him a wedding night thong. But every guy is different. As pp have said, you can't force him to wear it, but if you think he'd like it, go for it.

NB: I can't believe that I haven't thought about this for my FH! I've been pondering what I'm going to wear that night, but getting him something slipped my mind. Thanks for this post. Wedding night shopping, here I come! Lol

If I asked my FH to put on a thong he would die of laughter and think I was joking. It just depends on what you think he’s open too.

My fiance would not dare put on a thong lol.
My grandmother got me a couple pieces of lingerie that I really like and I bought myself some more recently. I showed it to him; which prompted him to try to find something for himself to wear and he was not excited about the choices, or lack there of.

I would suggest to shop with him or buy something that he'll actually enjoy and be comfortable in. If you think he'll like the thong, then go for it!
