Honeymoon?

Taylor, on July 12, 2019 at 2:33 PM Posted in Honeymoon 0 14

Where is everyone going on their honeymoon? I need some ideas! My fiance does not want to go to Europe. I was thinking about a cruise? Or maybe stay at a resort somewhere? I am not really a beach person, but I do like to lay out. My fiance likes to do things when on vacation, so I think we need something that has a good balance. Any ideas?

We are going to a Sandals Resort in Grenada. It's all inclusive, drinks, food, and activities. We are really looking forward to just relaxing and turning our brains off for a week.

We're doing a Caribbean cruise for several reasons: 1. we've never done a cruise before; 2. we've never been to the Caribbean; 3. I'm a total beach girl; 4. FH is not so much a beach person, but there are lots of things to do on the various islands we will visit (hikes, zip lining, animal attractions, shopping, restaurants, etc.); 5. the ship has all kinds of activities and fun, so if we wanted, we never even have to leave the ship!

    I can't wait!!!

We are doing a mini moon (weekend) in Austin immediately following the wedding then in October we are going on a cruise to Cozumel, Grand Cayman, and Jamaica. We specifically chose excursions that could either be relaxing on the beach OR doing something. For example, our first excursion I believe offers a beach but there's also a floating trampoline park, jet skis, and more available to rent. The second one is a tour on horseback which ends with a couple of hours on the beach. The third one is also a beach with options to dance, eat, drink, or explore!

We are doing a minimoon in Banner Elk, NC right after the wedding for a week. Then, in the spring, we are going to Ireland. The fall is Ireland's rainy season, so we did not want to go right after our October wedding and risk it being cold and rainy our entire trip!

Sounds like a cruise would be a good fit.

Turks and caicos- November- we're far from millionaires 🤣
Just turns out 7 days "DIYing it"( rental car, planning own activities, buying food out) is half the price of sandals all inclusive 😜

I would go the all inclusive resort route vs a cruise. Cruises have a lot of hustle and bustle and at an all inclusive you get everything the cruise offers once it's docked plus you don't have to buy a drink package!
