Hmm...that's a good question. Honestly, ours was booked straight through sandals. All of their resorts are all inclusive. I never even thought about going through a travel agent for sandals so I couldn't even tell you. Maybe a price difference? Maybe you should get in touch with a travel agent and see what they offer and then compare it to booking straight with sandals to see if there's a difference.

No problem. If there's no difference, I would personally go straight through sandals just in case anything happens, you'll at least be able to fix or speak with someone straight from the source. Better safe than sorry.

From my experience there is no difference. I went through a travel agent and the price was the same and no perks. FYI travel agents don't charge a fee and if yours does they are ripping you off.

We booked through a travel agent so she could arrange everything (reservations, airfare) for our wedding and guests. But, if I had to do it again, I'd do it myself. It has been a nightmare dealing with my travel agent and having to follow up behind her with incorrect details, to make a payment or responding in a timely manner.

A neighbor from high school is a Sandals agent. She collects her pay from Sandals, not you. She sometimes finds better rates and promotions or runs specials.
