So the plan was to go to Tennessee for our honeymoon but because of his job we can't take a week like we wanted to so we thinking just a little weekend getaway would work until next year but i can't finger out where! We live in Louisiana now i thought about Mississippi maybe even Alabama so any ideas like where to go and what to do for a weekend

Ahhh Tennessee is AWESOME.
I would look into local things/concerts near where you are staying— if you are a whiskey fan tour jack Daniels distillery!!!

I take it you've been to New Orleans, huh? If you're able to go as far as Alabama you could hit up Panama City Beach or Pensacola at about the same distance, for a little beach weekend. If you wanted to go the opposite direction there's Houston or Galveston, and Austin is very cool and just a little farther. Have you been to any of the national forests in Mississippi? Or of course you can always stay in your own city and spend the weekend at a B&B or a resort so it's easy to get to but still feels like a getaway

I got family in new Orleans I go atless once and month lol so we kinda wanted to go some where we never been and my girls wanted to go to Pensacola for a bachelorette trip that if we can still go by the time this Coronavirus is over but i have always wanted to go to austin so that's an idea!!!!
