Honeymoon?

We are going to New Zealand in December/ January. We are planning on starting a family right away, and it was the only place we wanted to go to that wasn't on the CDC's Zika map. That may be something to consider while you are planning!

We are going to The Secrets all inclusive resort in Costa Rica!

We're going to Providenciales, Turks and Caicos next March! We haven't booked our room yet, but we're planning to stay in an Airbnb right on Smith's Reef with 3 pools and a view of the ocean from the balcony! It's super nice! We got a great deal on our flights, but everything there is super expensive so most people online recommend staying in an Airbnb!

We are doing the west coast and Mexico in the 2nd week of December. 2 days in LA, 4 day cruise to Mexico, and 4 days in Disneyland

We were thinking of Thailand at Phuket.

We are doing sandals in Jamaica, but we were looking into Antigua. There are so many options and it wasn't as expensive as i expected.

We're doing 5 days in Riviera Maya (Mexico) at Secrets Akumal resort right after the wedding Adults-only, all-inclusive, booked it through a travel agent and it was super easy!

Yes, while that's what I'am Aiming for but things can change. Jamaica will be fun. I've been trying to plan a trip to go to Jamaica.

We chose the Bahamas because that was the only Caribbean island that was Zika-free according to the CDC website when we booked. If we went somewhere where that's still a possibility, then we would have to wait 6 months before trying to get pregnant, and I don't want to wait! We went to the Sandals in Nassau and it was really nice!

Carribbean cruise for us!! 7 days cruising the Eastern Carribbean! Paradise!! This is both tropical and all-inclusive.

View Quoted Comment I've lived in or directly outside of NYC all my life. Tip: if you can go earlier, before schools are out, you will save a lot of money. Summer and Christmas time are 2 of the bigger tourist seasons, so it's best to avoid the city at that time if at all possible. More people and higher prices. Actually, September or beginning of October is a pretty good time because everyone is back and it isn't cold/snowing yet or ridiculously hot.

We're taking a few days to ourselves to Montreal immediately after the wedding (December 2019). In March 2020 we're going to combine my FH's birthday with a full honeymoon to Iceland.

If you're looking for something tropical, I would suggest an Iberostar resort in the Dominican Republic. I went there a few years ago and had a great time.

Probably a Sandals resort. Haven't decided for sure yet.
