Hey Everyone, I'm getting married July 3rd despite the situation. We're probably not having a big reception bit we still want a honeymoon. We had a cruise for the 5th of July but it got cance And we're glad bc I feel like it's kinda risky! Anyone knows where can we have a good time during that week of the 5th? Preferably in the states, we're getting married in Puerto Rico since that's where I live so it wouldn't feel like a honeymoon is I stay on the island 😂 thank you all for the suggestions!!

    How about road trip and rent a nice airbnb? Not worrying about public transport, so way less risk.

    If you want flashy I’m not sure if Vegas will be open by then. It’s picture to do the opposite of a beach vacation. Kind of hard to do the honeymoon for the month of July since that would be when things will mostly opening up.

    I'm not sure how much you'll be able to travel in the states, by then. DH and I are going by the "Disney rule" - if Disney isn't open, we figure it's probably not safe to do much. We based this on Disney being entirely about getting as much money out of us as possible, while making us forget how much we're spending.

    That said, do try to virus-proof your honeymoon. Try to pick a smaller place, where you can rent a private space (not a hotel room), and you can get around by yourself.

    Alternatively, can you do a minimoon on the island, and plan a longer one for next year?
