Thanks Amber, we go to Gatlinburg very often and it is absolutely gorgeous every time. I have set this as our back up plan if I can't find anything else. We were hoping to explore unexplored territory for us though. if at all possible.

Some parts of Mexico is a reasonable price but it various when you guys purchase the trip, additionally if it’s more convenient when I went to DR all inclusive including the flight , I did it through bookit.com and paid a down payment and paid monthly on it

I would check out sandals or secrets all inclusive resorts. Various locations and with all inclusive you do not have to worry about food and drink.

We put all of our wedding expenses on credit cards with travel points (and then paid them off) and then used the points for our honeymoon. Between points for opening the cards, referral points (because he referred me) and spending points, our 7 night stay + airfare to New Orleans cost us less than $200. Basically we will just be paying for food and activities.

If you have enough time before your wedding, you might consider using credit cards to your advantage!

This is what we are doing. We were (generously) given 7 nights of accommodations in Vegas as a gift for our honeymoon. We opened up a southwest credit card. Earned 40,000 points for spending $1000 in first 3 months (we’ve put Christmas, gas, groceries, etc on it and just pay it off), we should only have to pay for food and activities

You can easily do a cruise for that amount. I know most of the cruise companies run good cyber Monday deals, and I imagine other travel sites will as well.
