Honeymoon?

We did an Orlando minimoon and went to Universal for a day. We had been before and my husband just really wanted to soak in Harry Potter World. We stayed for 5 hrs and rode 2 rides. We did not enjoy it. Islands of Adventure is more fun in my opinion. But both parks have a lot of virtual/3D rides which my husband can’t ride.
If you’ve never been I think you’ll have fun, but for us it was pretty much a one and done and we won’t be back.

I personally haven’t been there in a long time, but my sister just recently took my niece and they had a blast!Lots of people honeymoon to Disney or universal, especially if they’ve never gone before. It’s a fun time

I've been to Universal & Harry Potter World and had a blast! If you're amusement park people, or huge Harry Potter fans you'll have a great time. I'd definitely recommend investing in fast passes and early access though - because the Harry Potter World section is always the busiest part of the park!

OMG me and my family been there. Its a very fun and happy place. We got our money worth i would say go for it. Horry potter fans love that park

We went to Disney and Universal for our honeymoon.

I am a massive HP fan, too, and I love the parks, but they are quite small and you can easily blow through all of it in one day. As DH and I are not roller coaster people, we didn't really find the rest of Universal to be all that interesting.

If you're roller coaster people, though, you'll enjoy it.

That said, you're obviously within minutes of Disney and other parks, so you can always drop in on one of those during the four days.

I went for a trip in August a few years ago and had a great time. If you're not buying the fast pass, then I would hit the parks early in the morning to avoid some of the crazy lines.


Make sure you take sunscreen because my FH got baked out there, lol.
And while you're in Orlando, you can also hit the Orlando Eye, it was kinda romantic.

We live in Florida, so I am used to the sunscreen daily routine lol! But we are looking at staying at one of their onsite hotels that offers free fast passes and early admission! I haven't heard of the Orlando Eye, so I will definitely look into it! Thanks!!

Smart move! I stayed at the Portofino several years ago and it was gorgeous! The early morning boat ride over the park is really nice as well! 🛥️
