Where is everyone going for their honeymoon? Or if you're already married and had your honeymoon where did you go and how much money did you spend? My FH and I are going to go to Jamaica on a cruise!

We only have a few days after the wedding to go somewhere due to work schedules and school so we’re headed to Napa for four days and doing Europe in the summer of 2020

We splurged on the honeymoon and will be staying in a nice ocean front condo on Maui for 11 days. We're aiming to stay around 10k, but you can definitely do it cheaper.

We decided to go with a travel agent through AAA. She was SUPER helpful!! I recommend picking no more than two islands to visit on one trip (otherwise you will spend a lot of time traveling around). We decided on Maui and the Main island (Kona) based on recommendations from friends and coworkers. We are spending a little more time in Maui because there is so much to do! My FH and I googled excursions and things we might be interested in. I sent the travel agent an email with what dates we wanted to go on vacation, which islands we were interested in, and ideas for excursions. She ran with that and send us back a few of her favorite accommodations, excursion packages, flights etc. we met with her for about 30 min to discuss and finalize everything. I was so lost on planning in the beginning and she really took the load off my shoulders

Your agent works only through AAA? I thought about using a travel agent but was worried about scams and such. I was thinking of doing Oahu and Big Island (Kona). I figured since we're flying into Honolulu anyway we may as well spend time there. But it's definitely so overwhelming!

She is employed by Triple A and I have a membership. My grandmother works at AAA and highly recommended her. Aaa is reputable and you could call your local chamber of commerce for a reputable agent to avoid scams. My friend went to Oahu and loved it!!!

Tickets for two people are $125 per person. We’re visiting only two parks. We’re eating breakfast and dinner at our condo. So we’re saving money doing that.

I would Definitely suggest a travel agent. There are tons of reputable ones, but they can help book everything to make it less effort on you. I know ours doens't have a fee, she get paid from the cruise lines, hotels and things like that. There's one I have worked with on several trips including our honeymoon if you want a recommendation for one.

My parents are gifting us a cruise to the Bahamas or the Caribbean, we will just have to pay for any extras we want.
