This really depends on your comfort level. Do you feel comfortable traveling by plane? By car? What options are available based on your mode of transportation? Do you feel comfortable staying at a hotel or an airbnb?

Transportation is open. I would prefer an Airbnb but I'm open to hotels depending on location .

Where are you coming from? Do you want to stay in the US or go somewhere like Mexico or the Caribbean? What kinds of things do you and your fiance like to do?

I think it all depends on where you want to go and if you go there, will you have to self quarantine there or on your return?

I can tell you that air travel is probably the safest and cleanest its ever been But if air scares you, then by all means drive. Wherever you choose to go, I'd look to see what restrictions are in place for Airbnb's.

Two weekends ago we drove to a beach and met family there. We were able to safely social distance and our hotel was perfect. We avoided eating IN restaurants, but took advantage of take-out and ate in the lobby of our hotel. I actually kinda liked it better.

We are coming from Ohio. We would like to visit the virgin islands. We like water sports and fishing.

We went to Wrightsville Beach in Wilmington NC. It wasn't over crowded at all like some of the beaches shown on the daily news

Why not rent a cabin on a lake in the middle of nowhere or choose a nice resort with a private beach that doesn't have a lot of rooms / people that can use.

There are a ton of places that meet those requirements, just need to look where you want to be first.

I would think an AirBnB within driving distance would be fine. Even a mini-moon this year would be nice.

I’m not sure what your comfort level is, but we are going to Catalina Island for ours. We were supposed to go to Hawaii on 8/18/20, but the governor extended the 14 day quarantine there.

Nope Smiley smile It’s considered part of California. It’s outside of Long Beach, you just have to take an hour long ferry.

Catalina is off the coast of California, so, no, you do not need a passport. I believe they still have bison!

However, CA is a hotspot right now.

I would recommend a minimoon near where you live - rent a place for yourself by a lake or in the country, some place, and postpone for a fancy honeymoon next year.

Our honeymoon was supposed to be in Greece but because of the travel ban from Covid we had to cancel - so last minute we came up with plan-b and rented a cute airbnb in the Mountains of TN and are just going to make the best of it! 🙂
