Honeymoon - torn where to go.

We went to Hawaii. I had been twice in my younger years with my parents, but it was a completely different experience with my husband. It was a beautiful, romantic, relaxing honeymoon for sure!

We had a rule when determining the honeymoon location that neither of us could have visited there before. We didn't want it to turn into a "when I was here before..." or "I've already seen that, but I'll go again..." But rather a fun, last HUGE adventure together before starting a family. We decided on Australia and New Zealand!

I mean if you've already been to Hawaii multiple times, I don't see why it would be fair to go again. You should definitely go out and do something new, especially for such a special time you know? I was stationed in Japan and it's gorgeous. Great food, always somewhere to go!

Also got a chance to go to Singapore and Australia. Both beautiful but man are they expensive! Still totally worth it though. To add on, other places that are really nice are Thailand, Philippines, Malaysia and one of my favorites is Guam!

Why does he want Hawaii? If it's for the beach/jungle, you can definitely get that in parts of asia. We're going to palawan in the Philippines and it had a lot to do with the ecosystems present. I also noticed that for how long we're going and what we wanted, it's much cheaper. I love Hawaii, but like you, we have both gone and we wanted a new place.

For my honeymoon I want to go to Europe and my FH wants to go to Florida. We decided to do a smaller/shorter trip for the honeymoon and then go on a bigger trip to Europe for our anniversary. Is it possible to split up the trips so you can do both?

I want to go to GREECE SOOO BAD!!! My FH wants to go to bora bora or somewhere like that. I have travels to a few places in Austria, England, France, and Italy. I would definitely recommend Italy or Austria. All depends on what you guys like. I have been to Ossiach Austria which so far is my favorite place I have been. It was in a Valley. There is the Ossiach See surrounded by mountains. It was not a huge place but it was beautiful and the people there were awesome! Padua Italy was a very nice city as well. It wasn’t a big city but it had some history and beauty to it.

We were gonna get a cabin in the mountains and just enjoy each other’s company. We though of maybe doing a bigger one on our 2nd anniversary. Get our house in order and save for the trip we really want to take.
