Where are you located? What is affordable to you?

We just honeymooned in October and went to St. Lucia and Barbados!! We were looking at the Caribbean because it isn't that long of a flight, and then specifically looked at islands that were far enough south to be mostly out of the hurricane belt.

I've always heard that Mexico and the Dominican Republic have a lot of great choices when it comes to all-inclusive resorts!

Be mindful of the fact that October is a very active hurricane month in the Caribbean/Gulf of Mexico!

I've been told the Dominican Republic is nice. My fiance and I found a place called Kamalame Cay a private island in the Bahamas.

Our honeymoon is also in October & we're going to St. Maarten. It's in the Caribbean. Yea yea hurricane season but, everyone still goes. It may rain early morning for a bit but the sun comes out right after Mexico is always inexpensive. Have you ever heard of the ABC islands? Aruba, Bonaire, Curaçao? Said to be the ideal places to go because if misses the hurricane belt.

What is affordable for you? FH and I are going on a 7 day cruise to the Caribbean's for about $1,000 each. This includes room, entertainment, food. Not sure where you're at but there are beginner cruises for 3-4 nights that are much cheaper and go to Mexico too.
