Honeymoon that won’t break the bank

Courtney, on January 25, 2020 at 3:22 PM Posted in Honeymoon 0 6
HELP! We are looking for a place to honeymoon that won’t break the bank. We’d like to go for 7-8 days and stay in North America. We’d like to keep it between $110-$160/per night. Also looking for it to be all inclusive on the beach. Any ideas?? Thanks!

I don't think you'd be able to find an all inclusive for that low of a price. 160/night for a hotel on the beach is doable if you don't want an ocean view and go in the off season.

I would look into smaller Florida beach cities.

All inclusive resorts typically start at $100/night PER PERSON. So you're looking at a $200 per night minimum at the cheapest resorts.

I think it’s going to be incredibly hard to find an all inclusive for that price.
The cheapest way to stay near the beach is an Airbnb, bring your own alcohol and cook a lot of the meals there.
I’d look for a smaller, lesser know beach area (you could find some affordable places in Florida but you’d have to do some research, you’re not going to be able to go to Miami or the keys for that price) Maybe look into a cruise, it won’t be that cheap, but an all inclusive cruise is cheaper than an all inclusive resort (at least that’s what we found) Good luck!

Does it help if I meant PER PERSON? Smiley smile closer to $160/a night per person?

As far as I know, there aren't any all inclusive resorts in the United States (maybe one in Florida but I can't remember). So I'd look into Mexico. I think for that budget, you most likely won't find that for accommodations & food & drink.

Is cruising an option you might consider? You can definitely find something in that price range while staying in North America (think: Mexico, Jamaica, etc.), and on a cruise you're staying as close to the ocean front as you can possibly be every night. LOL. But there are days you won't see a beach, unfortunately.
