Honeymoon Suggestions Please!

Kelly, on October 27, 2020 at 12:41 PM Posted in Honeymoon 0 10
I’m looking for suggestions for an all inclusive honeymoon some where with tropical beachy vibes. Does anyone have any good resources to look at packages and book? Budget friendly resources preferred! Smiley smile

I personally LOVE the bahamas, and it's very budget friendly. Now for a little more money, I would suggest somewhere like Aruba but it's definitely more expensive! Try using cheapcarribean.com, southwestvacations.com, or even somewhere like expedia

I suggest contacting a travel agent, and asking if they have any deals for tropical honeymoon destinations! Sometimes, you may be able to find a good deal, but also check their pricing with your own research (check Expedia too) to make sure you're getting the best deal.

We chose Costa Rica as our honeymoon location! We'll be at the all-inclusive Marriott resort called The Westin Reserva at Conchal! We leave on December 2nd (wedding on November 27th).

Our honeymoon is booked with Sandals. We're going to St. Lucia for a week. They have multiple locations in the Caribbean.

We’re going to a Sandals resort in Jamaica for a week. I got a smoking deal! My fiancé is a firefighter so we got 10% off. I booked a honeymoon suite villa with a butler- original price was $5107 but with the sale they had plus my 10%, I got it down to $4300. I figured, it’s our honeymoon so why not splurge? Few weeks later, I went online to make my payment & curiosity got to me & I checked prices again. They had it down to $3949- after the adjustments, I got the same type of room, same timeframe for $3100! My fiancé was shocked! We used the savings to get 2 1st class tickets to Jamaica!
If you go the route of going through a travel agent, you end up paying extra for something you can do yourself.

We are also going to a Sandals resort. We are doing what they call a WeddingMoon. We are going for 10 nights. Jamaica is very low on covid.

I think it depends on the timing. If your wedding is in September 2021 and you want to go on your honeymoon right away, then your options may be more limited because we don't know how the restrictions with international travel with Covid will pan out. If you are set on taking a September 2021 honeymoon, then I would perhaps aim for Florida, which has some all inclusive options. Otherwise, I would highly recommend the Secrets and Sandals brand of resorts which are all over the Caribbean.

CheapCarribbean is a great resource for finding all-inclusive packages. You can set your budget and general timeframe. It's a great place to browse even if you don't end up booking through them—they do have specials often, though, and make it easy to bundle ground transportation, etc.
