honeymoon punta cana or cancun??

We went to Punta Cana last year to celebrate our engagement, we stayed at the Barcelo Bavaro Palace Deluxe and LOVED it! I would highly recommend it, it is a huge all-inclusive resort with tons of dining, activities swimming area and it has the BEST beach in PC! We would go back in a heart beat!

Cancun (riviera maya)

I've been to both and I liked both. Punta Cana was more laid back. Cancun was more of a party.

Both destinations have amazing beaches. Cancun/Rivera Maya have many more Adult Only All Inclusive to choose from. Depending on your budget and what activities you enjoy would determine what destination would be best for you and your fiancé.

My choices were between 2 excellence resorts, one in Punta Cana and one in Playa Mujeres near cancun. I decided on PC, but then changed my mind and went with the Mexico one.

Been to both. Agree with Riki.

I think PC is more couple/family friendly. more laid back.

Cancun is more fun and as you know also attract party ppl as well as couple/family so depends on what kind of activities/vibe you're looking for! and of course the resort.

I've been to both. I loved Cancun much more than Punta Cana. We actually booked our honeymoon to Riveria Maya!

I have been to both, and while they are both quite lovely, I have to say I liked PC much much more. We stayed at the Dreams Resort in Punta Cana, and they catered to our every need. We upgraded to the executive suite when we arrived, and it was fabulous.com.. We didn't have want or need for anything. I trip advisored the heck out of all the resorts in the DR, and this was worth it. Cancun is nice, but the DR is just so romantic to me.... I sure which ever u chose you wont be disappointed... I have to tell you, I am anxious to go back to the DR, Cancun.... ehhhh it can wait.. Good luck on making your choice... . We're actually considering Turks and Caicos.... if we can get a good deal.... :-)
