We received nothing really. I’ve heard if you do a room block with a hotel they might. We were supposed to have the honeymoon package with sandals but were disappointed- not as advertised

Resorts like Sandals do free nights and maybe a room upgrade if it's a honeymoon what I have seen but varies.

TBH, almost everything charges MORE when they hear you’re honeymooning! 😂 I think the best you can hope for is nice service and MAYBE a glass of wine if you arrive for your flight or to a hotel all decked out in ‘just married’ gear. Some smaller, boutique hotels will put a complimentary bottle of wine or chocolates in your room if it’s a special occasion, but again, that’s pretty rare. Doesn’t hurt to ask, but don’t get your hopes up too high.

We got a free drink on the airplane en route to our honeymoon. Not sure if it's because they overheard us talking about the honeymoon/wedding or because the airline canceled our original flight and put us on a later flight that day, but we opted to order an alcoholic beverage and were not charged. We also stayed at an Excellence resort, which provides some free perks for honeymooners: we got a romantic dinner on the beach, champagne brought to our room and the hot tub all made up with rose petals one night, as well as a free hydro spa treatment at their spa.

No. If you want to fly first class buy a first class ticket. Typically that cabin is sold out or those seats are given to high value frequent fliers. The crew might give you a couple free drinks in economy if you tell them you are on your honeymoon but they will not be able to upgrade you to the first class cabin. If you want better odds with a hotel upgrade get their credit card and earn status with a hotel chain, like Marriott, Hilton, etc. Even if you do not garner an upgraded room they typically offer a welcome gift.

We had our honeymoon at Sandals Grenada. We signed up for the honeymoon package and we received the champagne in our room when we arrived, the turn down service and breakfast "in bed" (they bring up your food, you can eat it where ever). We also had the love nest suite with butler service so we could have asked for champagne every night and breakfast every morning.

It depends on the hotel. Some might just decorate the room a little making hearts with towels but most charge for special decor such as flowers, petals, candles, champagne and chocolate. You might get an upgrade room if available and the receptionist is nice enough. For airlines maybe a wine glass on the house again if lucky. You can ask and see.
