Hi everyone,

We are getting married this July 2024 and going on our honeymoon right after. We have 6 days to travel for our honeymoon. Our budget is around $6000Does any one have suggestions for travel packages to either Mexico, Thailand, Japan or the Caribbean? Thanks in advance

It seems that a 6 day honeymoon is best spent pretty close by. Traveling to Asia would put most of your honeymoon at the airports. Maybe you could find a short coastal cruise. Maybe someone can chime in with a recommendation in Mexico or the Caribbeans -- if you can get short travel times to either.

For your budget, you’ll likely get more for your money in Mexico or a Caribbean country like the Dominican Republic. With the 6 days, as PP said, a trip to Asia will likely take up a good chunk of your time. And airfare is typically not cheap. If you’re closer to the west coast of the US, then Cabo or others areas on the western side of Mexico will probably be your best bet for proximity and budget.

Agreed with all the other posters - 6 days isn’t very long at all so stick close to home and minimise the time difference between your home town and your destination to reduce jet lag. I would look at which destinations in Mexico/the Caribbean can be reached by direct flights from your nearest airport and then come back to us and/or Google for recommendations on specific resorts.
