Hey guys! We’re honeymooning in Austin TX September 19-24, and we wanna hear any ideas y’all have for things to do/see/hike etc in the area. We love Texas but we’ve never been on vacation together before so we’re super excited to experience this for the first time together and not with family members around! Thanks for the help!!

As a Texan, I’ve been to Austin a couple times myself! A cool experience I did was kayaking on Lake Austin. They even took us to a little island in the middle for a break. I found it through Airbnb experiences.

You can also go tubing in Austin (Barton Creek Greenbelt) or around Austin (Lake Travis, San Marcos River, Guadalupe River, Comal River).
Sixth Street is popular for their bars, but one that’s a little more chill and *classier* (and less drunk college students lol) for a honeymoon is Rainey Street. Banger’s is good and provides delicious beer, mimosas, and brunch!
Austin is also well known for its live music. There won’t be festivals at that time, but if you search online, you could find some places with schedules.
