Honeymoon insurance - cancel for any reason

Sarah, on March 7, 2020 at 2:02 AM Posted in Honeymoon 0 4

Has anyone bought "cancel for any reason" insurance plan for the honeymoon? Concerned about the coronavirus. We are suppose to go to Bora Bora in four weeks. Which plans did you get? I'm comparing plans on www.insuremytrip.com and thinking about Nationwide Essentials.

May sure it will still cover Corona virus since you haven’t purchased yet. I’ve heard some are saying they won’t cover it.

Most plans that include 'cancel for any reason' benefits require you to purchase the plan within 2 weeks of the first deposit on the trip. If you're four weeks away from going, I'm going to assume that you booked this a long time ago...so cancel for any reason would no longer be available to you.

I agree. I bought Cancel for any Reason for my honeymoon BUT you have to buy the policy within 15 days of booking the trip! Check this before you buy a policy. Would want you to Waste money!
