Honeymoon in Florida Keys???

We've decided to stay stateside for our honeymoon and go abroad later. So we're thinking Florida keys somewhere but then was told it's hurricane season there now. Any suggestions on a nice low key Romantic relaxing place to go here in the states? Planning the honeymoon September 20th 2021 for 3 days.

    We decided to stay in the US as well. We are going to gatlinburg, TN in october for our honeymoon and I think it will be beautiful in the mountains that time of year.

    We are going to St. Augustine, FL for a week in November after our wedding in October. We have been down in that area before during hurricane season and all was well for us.

    Yes, it's hurricane season in mid september. However, you should be able to plan to go if you want and just be flexible and buy travel insurance. That same weekend is my birthday and we will be going to Key Largo for a few days to do some final details, just paying close attention to the weather-but we also live in Florida.
