Honeymoon in Cancun

The beach will be warm enough in January. Should be beautiful. Check with your resort for snorkeling tours if that’s something you would enjoy. You’ll have a great time!

Awesome! The weather will be amazing!! We are getting married in the Riviera Maya on December 1st. Flying into Cancun with our family and friends in November, next month eeekkkk!! Xcaret, Xel Ha, Tulum, Cozumel, Playa Del Carmen, Akumal, cenotes! So much to do there. You're gonna love it!

Go see playa mujeres. We did a “vip” catamaran that was amazing. Prettiest water I’ve ever seen and the highlight was snorkeling and seeing a giant sea turtle.

We also did a Mayan ruin and cenote tour. It was fun.

I was in Riviera Maya about 4 or 5 years ago for a New Years. The beach was cold for my taste although it was full of tourist. I’m from south Florida so we know sunny and warm beaches. The weather was perfect! Not cold and not hot either, just perfect balance.
Cancun had a great nightlife in the downtown area. I find Coco Bongo to be a little overrated but is a different experience. Another great nightlife experience just outside Cancun is Xochimilco. Is a 100% Mexican experience I recommend.
For dinning in Cancun the one place I love is Ruth Chris Steakhouse. Is a restaurant they have here in the states as well and is delicious.
For tours I say do Chichen Itza, a xenote which they have one in Xcaret park but you can always do the others since they have a lot of different ones. I also recommend taking a ferry for a day or catamaran and going to Isla Mujeres. Is one of the most beautiful blue ocean in the area.
They truly have it all! Snorkeling, jet skiing, swimming with dolphins, whatever you like you’ll find.
