Honeymoon in Bali - coronavirus (covid19) concern(?)

Jane, on February 18, 2020 at 2:33 PM Posted in Honeymoon 0 2
Hi everyone!

We are planning our honeymoon for late September, and our dream was to go to Bali! My fiancé is understandably concerned about the coronavirus and thinks we should go somewhere else instead; is anyone else planning a honeymoon to a country in Asia this year? If rescheduling, where did people decide on instead? Any comparative alternatives for culture/temples/sights + hiking/exploring + some beach/pool time/relaxation?
Thank you!

Hmmm that is a hard one for sure. Are you opposed to postponing the honeymoon and not going right after the wedding? If your hearts are set on Bali?

We're supposed to be going to Japan in late April for our honeymoon (went on a mini-moon right after wedding, waited for main honeymoon) and now we're trying to decide if we should postpone or not. It's so tough. If we reschedule it'd probably have to be to the fall because summer is both H's busy season at work, and the Olympics are going to be in Japan so things will likely already be booked up, and what's not will be bumped up in price.
