Honeymoon hotel room special requests

I am 👌🏽 This close to fully booking our honeymoon. I was wondering has anyone ever requested for the hotel to add something special waiting for you in the room for your honeymoon or for a special hotel stay? Example like a bottle or glasses of champagne, or a dessert, or rose petals on the bed or flowers or something. What did u ask for? I know only our hotel can answer this question but I just wanted an idea of whats possible.

We are planning to stay at an all inclusive resort in Mexico.

We're honeymooning in Colorado. The chateau we're staying at had an option to add a romance package which I did add. I think it's rose petals, chocolate covered strawberries and a bottle of wine. My FH has no idea. I think it's a great way to still add a surprise as a newly wedded couple.

Yes! I think it is nice. I will even take chocolate covered strawberries by itself as a minimum. Since the resort is all inclusive maybe they can make that happen.

Our resort had the option of stating if there was a special occasion. We put that it was our honeymoon and will see if they do anything special or not when we get there!

On our anniversary we had a bottle of champagne waiting for us in the room, it’s always over priced it was a 20 bottle and they changed us 100 for it.

We put notes in our reservations that we were on our honeymoon. We were in Hawaii so a TON of people were on their honeymoon so it was pretty common. Every hotel did something small like a bottle of champagne or chocolate strawberries or drink coupons.

I emailed the hotel we’re staying at for our wedding night (we’re flying out the next day) to see if they had any romance packages I could add on. They didn’t have one but they did give us a complimentary upgrade to a suite! The worse they can say to you is no they don’t have anything to offer you. Good luck!
