Honeymoon - Hawaii

Amanda, on March 10, 2020 at 12:11 PM Posted in Honeymoon 0 6
Anyone planning on going to Hawaii for their honeymoon? We’re thinking of going in November (2nd and 3rd week of the month). Through research, it appears that November is a “rainy month”, but other websites say it’s perfectly fine. Has anyone vacationed there during the month of November, and if so, is it worth it?

I think also something to keep in mind that places with tropical temps will rain and the rain could be something as brief as ten minutes and the rest of the day is clear.

Have you been to Hawaii before? The rain there may be very different from where you live. I personally love tropical rainstorms! It's pretty warm and it comes in hard and then leaves. And then you get rainbows. Smiley smile

It depends on which island, too, for how much rain you are likely to get. I have been to Kaua'i (the rainiest island) in November and it's beautiful. It did rain but it didn't keep us from doing anything we wanted to do and it certainly didn't rain the whole time we were there.

We are doing Hawaii- but in August.

Honestly so many places are rainy season at that time of year. I wouldn't stress about it so much. It's usually a shower and not a downpour.
I suggest posting on the TripAdvisor Hawaii forum and asking- people who actually live there will respond. Also, make sure you indicate which island(s) you are going to specifically.

We went in July (can't speak for November) and it was such a fun trip. It rained a couple times and we still had a ton of fun!

I have been to Hawaii in mid November before (our wedding is also in November and we are looking into as well).

It rained 2 days but if you drive to the other side of the island the skies were clear and not a drop of rain.

    Hawaii is 1000% worth it!
