Hi, any ideas on the best way to let everyone know that instead of a registry we are going to do a moon fund(funds for the honeymoon)...

You could always have a registry link but only have cash funds on the registry!

The same way you would any other registry. Put it on your website and let people know via word of mouth.

Definitely the registry. We put activity sponsor options on our registry, so people still felt like they were "shopping". We already have all these scheduled, so we'll be doing them regardless, but it makes it fun. We plan on sending the sponsors pictures of us doing the activity with a thank you card. Here are pictures from ours.
