Honeymoon during Covid Times

Chabely, on February 25, 2021 at 8:00 PM Posted in Honeymoon 1 9
Hi everyone!

So we’re getting married on November 13, 2021 and from the looks of it this pandemic isn’t exactly improving the way I had hoped. Has anyone recently had a honeymoon within the US? We’re from Puerto Rico so we’re open to visiting any state but need some ideas/nice spots etc.
Thank you! 💙

No, I haven't. I'm contemplating on skipping it completely. It wont feel like a vacation with the mask wearing and other safety precautions

We have considered renting in airbnb that has a lot of land on a lake or in the mountains. That will probably be the closest we'll get to for a vacation.

We did Disney - but pre-COVID.

What kind of things do you like to do? What's your budget? How long, what season?

A little more info and we can really help you!

    You're the day after me!

We are currently discussing our honeymoon plans and we have 3 plans actually as of right now. Waiting until probably the summer to book anything just because we are nervous about things.

Our first idea is to go to California. We wanted to do Universal/Disneyland but they're still closed. So depending on when they open if they open we may or may not do this. There's plenty of other things to do in California so I think we might just stick with that plan and visit another area if they remain closed or we can't book there this year.

Our second idea was to do Universal/Disney World in Florida. We've both been to Disney in Florida so we kind of don't know how much we actually WANT to do this yet, but we kept it on the table for now.

Our third plan is if things get bad again. We were thinking of just going a state or 2 over and staying there. We live in New England, so this would be New Hampshire or Vermont for us probably. Again, not ideal, but we wanted to go somewhere for a honeymoon so it's a last resort.

Are you looking for a beachy type honeymoon or more adventurous?

The budget is around 5k-ish. We’re thinking of spending a week here at home road-tripping it and another week in Nevada. Our initial plan was a cruise but that’s out of the picture.

We also thought of going to Disney but with the fear of Covid and the crowd it just won’t seem like much a vacation when we’re stressing out about masks/distancing etc

My fiancee and I just got back from our honeymoon last week, and we spent a week in Washington DC, visiting the monuments, learning about the history there. It was great! Too bad the Smithsonians weren't open, but we both agreed to go back though ounce COVID is over.

Surrendering your experience of the food is imperative. Do leave a real review as it helps Foodora plan for the accompanying demand as Naturalhealthscam requirements be. All of these things that you pick and reaction are recorded for your future orders as well. You may feel that the more you use the more exact it is to propose the sustenance for you. As such assessments are the uncommon info parts for the application.

I feel the same way right now too! We were thinking of doing Florida because they're open, but then they just put this new rule in that when you are at a restaurant, you have to wear your mask at all times except for when you are eating. To me, that just doesn't seem like fun at all! Our state has the mask mandate but when we are eating we are allowed to keep it off once we are at the table. So I really don't know what to do anymore! We want to go somewhere, but we want to enjoy it and covid might not be allowing that to happen.
