Honeymoon Destinations that have more than laying out on the beach

I would recommend Kauai, HI, out of all the Hawaii islands their beaches are just alright compared to the others & there’s so much to do there! The Grand Hyatt has a nice lagoon to go in the water and you can look at the beach, I say the beaches are alright because they have a lot of rocks! You get beautiful sunsets and you dont have to go in the ocean. Theres fun tours you can do to see where Jurassic park was filmed and natural waterfalls, also great place to horse back ride. It’s such beautiful island!

Puerto Rico would be a great option! There are beaches for swimming and tanning, and there are also historic forts you can tour, Old San Juan for shopping/restaurants/bar hopping, El Yunque rain forest for hiking or zip lining, bioluminescent bays, Bacardi for a tour/tasting, and lots of great restaurants.

I totally get that, my husband isn’t big on lounging in the sun all day either. We’re actually planning to travel in Barcelona celebrating our tenth aniversarry, and we wanted a beachy destination with fun activities nearby too.
