We will be cruising to Jamaica, the Cayman Islands, Mexico, and to the Bahamas come March for our honeymoon and while I would love to take pictures on our honeymoon with my ring- I’m very concerned it will draw unwanted attention to us traveling on the boat and while on land. I have insurance on it but I’m still very concerned being my wedding ring and band its irreplaceable to me because the memories we have with it.

Thoughts? Experiences?

I personally have always left my ring at home on vacations. Not only for the fear of someone stealing it, because that is preventable with a safe, but also because I have a tendency to misplace a lot of things. The last thing I would want to do is lose my ring. I bought a silicone band and I absolutely love it. It's so easy to travel with, and honestly I don't even know its there most of the time.

I wouldn’t take it. Usually when I travel I wear a fake ring or a silicone band

If you're worried about it, then leave it somewhere safe at home! We do have our rings insured, however I've traveled all over the world and always wear my real rings (Barbados, St. Martin, PR, cruising through the other Caribbean islands, Hawaii, Greece, Italy, etc) and haven't had an issue. Sometimes though my fingers swell while traveling, in which case I'll leave them in the safe and wear a silicone band instead. Just be smart about it and keep an eye out for shady activity so you can be sure to feel safe.

I bought a CZ ring that looked so much like my real ER that it fooled my fiance. That's what'll be coming on the Mexico honeymoon with me. I can wear it in pool/ocean and if something happens, no big deal! Best $12 spend ever!

So I’m super sketched out by hotel lockers as the staff has access to them... I would personally either wear them or leave them at home, but wouldn’t pick the hotel safe option!
