Honeyfund

My brother and his now wife did a honey fund at their wedding. Hardly anyone contributed to it though. A couple people mentioned they didn’t like that the site took a percentage of the money they contributed, so they just gifted cash instead. That was over five years ago though, and I don’t feel like honey funds were as common as they are now. So maybe people would be more apt to use them now? I have always found that if you just do not register for anything, people will automatically default to giving you cash/checks in a card at your wedding (which you can then put towards your honeymoon, and not have fees taken out of it).

Also this. We went with Joy for our registry, and put cash fund options on the registry to essentially show people what we would use cash for, but we don't anticipate that any of our guests will give money through the website. Joy lets you connect your Paypal or Venmo accounts so there are no fees associated with the giving of the money, but my guess is that will be even weirder to everyone and they'll just give cash or checks at the wedding itself.
