Honeyfund Issue

Serena, on July 24, 2019 at 9:11 PM Posted in Honeymoon 0 4
Honeyfund users please help!

We made our honeyfund so that it would be 100% free. Our settings are that guests can't pay with credit cards, which would charge us a fee, they can pay via cash/check or venmo. So far, all guests have paid with credit card and we have no way to retrieve our funds. I think we have to allow credit card transactions in order to get the funds, which defeats the purpose. I'm wondering if this is how honeyfund scams? I even went to our honeyfund page as a guest and saw that the only option honeyfund gives is to pay via card.

I called them 3 times at different times of the day today, and each time the message says all lines are busy, please leave a message and we'll get back to you. Sounds suspicious to me.

Anyone else use honeyfund 100% free? Anyone else ever able to get ahold of them on the phone?

Honeyfund is a business. Why would it be free? I've ALWAYS heard of their being a fee attached.

There is a free option. They make money off of the people who pay. My issue is that credit card option is off, yet my guests only have the credit card option to pay. Thanks for your help.

If they're making money off guests, it's still isnt free... you're just passing the price onto your guests.
