Honey moon funds and dollar dance

If you did either of this what did you do with the money throughout the night?
Leaving a box of money out in the open makes me a little nervous.

We did have a box of money on the sign in table with the guest book and seating chart. Our bridesmaids were sitting there though. Come time for when they had to take their seats, our relatives removed the money from the box and held it in their own purse the whole night and gave it to us when they left for the night when it was at the very end. Or another solution is if you have a bridal suite that you can secure the box in so that it's not in the open?

Usually the MOH/Best Man collects the money during the dollar dance and then it gets turned over to the bride and groom, then to a parent with a purse. In my experience.

I would pick a dad with a pocket to put the money in a wallet. Or if someone can lock it in their car trunk?

I did not have either of these at my wedding due to concerns related to etiquette but I've been to weddings that have them.

Ask your venue if they have a lockbox or small safe in the bridal suite. I've seen so many drunk dads "forget" and lose the cash, wishing wells that walk out the door with a guest, or purses filled with ones go "missing."
