I think the dress is very bridal. Is your concern the pregnant piece? I think it's a lovely dress.

I think it's because I am pregnant and have a little belly going I am currently expecting number 9 and I think I tend to be too hard on my self regarding weight but I loved the dress and loved how I felt I went out of my comfort zone and did a mermaid style but I look at the photos and I hate how big I look

OK, good! I was going to say if you were going to be pregnant, I would probably pick a different silhouette to accommodate your growing belly. If I were in your position, I would put off making the final decision on a dress until after the baby is born. You still have a year and a half before your wedding, which is plenty of time. Women’s bodies change sooooooo much after pregnancy. I’ve had friends who have been left with a ton of extra weight after pregnancy, and I had two friends who lost insane amounts of weight after the pregnancy (like 40+ pounds lighter than before they even got pregnant!). My SIL was rail thin after her first pregnancy, then suddenly developed boobs and a tush after her 2nd. It would be nearly impossible to predict what changes your body will go through and what you will feel comfortable in at that time. I would hate for you to spend a lot of money on a dress only to not like it or not feel comfortable in it when the time came to wear it.

I wore that dress!! Yeah for sure it’s bridal enough! I agree I would wait until after the baby is born to decide.

The main part of the dress is beautiful. But not the drop sleeves. First having at least cap sleeves, or more, That cover the rounded joint at the shoulder, changes your whole silhouette. Broadening the shoulder makes your figure appear biggest at shoulders, in at waist, out around hips, curving in toward legs, an hourglass shape. Even where the waist and bust are not small, they are comparatively smaller than the shoulders side to side.

The above is not only wider at top because of the straps. Much of the time you will have your picture taken seated, or with other tables in front. If you take the picture of you and crop it just below the waist, Seated view of the strapless does not frame your face in any way.
Or, a gown that is at natural inner shoulder, like below, but rises to your neck, high in front. You seem taller, and your face and dark hair are nicely framed.

Also, straps riding higher on your figure, over the shoulder, will make your dress look at least 5 inches taller, and give you the support this dress is not giving you.It will make a dramatic difference. Below, she has a light petticoat under the lower flare. You should wear one for try-ons, as it shows how the dress will look, in balance top to bottom.Honest opinions about this dress is it bridal enough 5

I hope I do not seem critical. But I really think you are settling, it this dress when you could look spectacular. I have 5 kids, the last twins. And even as you try now, you do not know, after. But regardless, I think doing away with the strapless, fallen sleeve look, extending the height up and out with sleeves, and framing your face more will be worth it, sitting or standing.

It surely looks bridal, but I agree about the sleeves. You may want to try a dress with an empire waist. You'll still be able to use a jeweled belt or sash.

It's absolutely bridal enough and looks beautiful on you!! Smiley heart

I'd also try a few different looks playing around with the sleeves and the belt height to see what you like best!
